Looking to add a Wedding Bongo Player to your big day?
When it comes to Bongos – I’ve got two ‘go to guys’. They’re literally chalk and cheese to say the least but, both phenomenal musicians. Dan is very professional, very smart and will smile till his cheeks hurt from start to finish of the night. Seb will most likely wear some form of animal print T-shirt and potentially take your eye out as he adjusts his dreadlocks on the dancefloor (I’m pretty sure they reach the floor these days)!
Dan & Seb really can enhance any track I’m playing and they’re great fun to work with. Not only will they create a big build up to the key part of the track that’s about to drop (sending your guests wild), they’ll also be making their way round the dancefloor interacting with your guests, encouraging them to play along! I regularly get asked if I have a preference between the two and the honest answer is no, I don’t. My advice would be to select the one you believe suits the vibe you’re aiming for – if your first choice isn’t available, be confident in knowing the other will still provide you with a great performance that your guest will love!

Dan Rawley Percussion
After seeing Dan perform at a variety of big events across East Anglia, I knew I wanted to work with him for some time. As with all my recommended suppliers – I have to work with them first so, I invited Dan to my very first ‘DJ Scott Dewing + Friends’ event back in March 2023 in Essex.
Dan absolutely smashed his set! His timing was impeccable (very handy when I’m also trying to mix ha ha) and he’s just an all round great guy! We’ve since worked on a few more events and, he was welcomed back for the 2024 DJ Scott Dewing + Friends at The St. Osyth Priory.
Seb aka Mistershed
You won’t find him in a shirt and tie but you may find him making his way round the dancefloor with a nose ring and a pair of sun glasses absolutely smashing those bongos!
Seb is no stranger to putting on a big performance as he has done across Europe for many years. Accompanying acclaimed DJ’s in world-renowned nightclubs such as Pacha & Eden, Ibiza. Sebs performance is a high energy & visually gripping addition to your Wedding entertainment – exactly why he was also featured on the 2024 line up for ‘DJ Scott Dewing + Friends’

Although Bongos/Live Percussion is well known to be associated with House Music, they can play along to all genres. If they haven’t heard the track before – it doesn’t take long to understand the structure of the song and then play alongside.
Both Dan & Seb live in Essex and are happy to travel however, you’ll have to discuss the distance with them directly to see if they have any extra milage fees for the event.
