Wedding Bongo Player Hire – Bring the Beat to the Dancefloor
What I love most about a bongo player is their ability to really interact with your guests. Not only will they get out on the dancefloor and mingle, but they’ll often tip the bongos forward and invite your guests to join in too — it’s a seriously fun addition to your evening entertainment, and one your guests won’t forget!
The players I recommend have a great ear for music, which allows them to make those big build-ups even more powerful before the drop kicks in — creating a phenomenal atmosphere on the night.
Can’t decide between a saxophonist or a bongo player? Why not have both… and watch them battle it out on the dancefloor!

Interactive Percussion That Elevates the Energy
Absolutely — take a look at some of the content I’ve captured from events where Mistershed and Dan Rawley have performed over the last few years.
You’ll see not only how well they can play alongside a wide range of genres, but also how confidently they jump right into the middle of the dancefloor to engage with your guests.
I’m more than happy to work with any wedding percussionist you have in mind — I simply recommend Mistershed and Dan Rawley because they’re fantastic musicians, highly interactive, and incredibly reliable.

Wedding Bongo Player - FAQs
Are Bongo Players more suited to House Music or can they play across different genres?
Both Dan and Seb are based in Essex and are happy to travel. However, you’ll need to discuss the distance with them directly to check whether any additional mileage fees apply for your date.
What equipment do they use?
Walkabout bongos, congas, and cymbals fitted with LED lights — plus a static setup that usually sits alongside my DJ rig.
